Jon established the firm in 2004 and has been recognized as one of the top business intermediaries in Florida. Jon has worked extensively across several industries including business services, manufacturing, distribution, financial services and hospitality. Prior to founding Acquivest, Jon built a consulting practice providing asset allocation and investment analysis to 100-150 financial advisors from many of the largest broker-dealers. Jon is also an accomplished commercial real estate investor.
Jon is active with a number of business brokerage and M&A organizations including the Business Brokers of Florida (BBF) and Association for Corporate Growth (ACG). Mr. Molayem remains an active member of Jewish Community Center (Maitland), as well as the Downtown Orlando Breakfast Rotary Club, supporting Orlando's inner-city children. More recently, Jon has been invited to the board of venVelo, Orlando's premier early-stage venture fund.
Mr. Molayem received a BS in Chemistry from the University of Maryland and an MBA from the Crummer School of Business at Rollins College. Mr. Molayem maintains FINRA Series 7, 63 and 79 securities licenses through Transact Capital Securities, LLC.

Prior to becoming a Managing Director of TCP, Tony was President of the Industrial Filtration Division of a public company located in Richmond, VA (American Filtrona Corporation). When the $45 million division was sold in 1994, He served as Corporate Vice President of Business Development, where he coordinated the mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures of various manufacturing companies, both domestic and abroad. He has in-depth technical knowledge of manufacturing processes with over 30 years of experience in Printing, Metal Working, Filtration, Plastics, and Fiber Processing. Tony has extensive knowledge in private business valuations and is a passive investor in other business ventures. He belongs to a number of professional organizations including the International Business Brokers Association, M&A Source, Society of Plastics Engineers, American Institute of Industrial Engineers, and the Association for Corporate Growth. He earned Industrial Engineering & Business Degrees from the University of Maryland and an MBA from Loyola College.
